Still today, less than 30% of women make up data and analytics roles in data science, and things have got to change! The Office for Students recognised this and funded universities to develop a suite of postgraduate courses in Data Science and AI and provides scholarships to enhance the diversity of learners. This included Institute of Coding university partners who have been working towards bridging the data skills gap since 2017.
Many of our learners identify as female and as a result, we are looking for female industry professionals in Data Science and AI to inspire our students with their stories, successes and learnings from their time in industry. Could this be you?
